Pandora and Eric Best have a range of beautiful vintage, modern, English and foreign carriages at Hraefn Ham Farm, Hutcherleigh near Totnes.

Star of the collection is a beautiful 1880s Brougham, a gorgeous glass fronted coach, which is perfect for weddings, proms, christenings, civil ceremonies, and other special occasions. Newly uopholstered in a sumptuous dark blue it provides a beautiful backdrop for any bride. The glass windows at the front and side allow views of the happy couple whilst the closed coach mean that even in an English summer you can still arrive in style. It also provides a degree of privacy to enjoy the intimacy of those moments after the ceremony. The carriage is drawn by Thunder, a milk white gypsy cob with a flowing mane and tail. Brides can choose their ribbons and plumes to decorate the horse and carriage. In summer champagne and in winter footwarmers, rugs and hot toddies are provided to keep you warm whatever the weather.

Pandora has done wedding carriages since 1985 and is happy to discuss your individual requirements to make sure it really is the trip of a lifetime.

Charges for the carriages depend on what you want to do , a small pony drawn open carriage can be provided for bridesmaids or a larger wagonette for guests, family etc.

They also have carriages for picnics, three day driving to Dartmoor, learning to drive and other fun horse related activities. Pony parties for children's birthdays can be arranged as well as pub drives for adult special occasions.

There is also a stunning black and silver horse drawn hearse for those who want to go out in style, and a Hungarian open vehicle for the "Green" funeral market.
